My biggest complaint

Is that for some reason, even if he doesn't trigger a trap, if I take the trap out I get a different out come.

Like I do it one way and have a few traps he didn't trigger, if I take the non-triggered traps out flackboy moves differently. But it's not chance, because I tested it a few times. It's like the traps being on screen and not triggered affect the outcome. WTF?

There are Better

The map, the barricade....... Reminds me of the Last Stand. Which is an amazing game. I cant help comparing the two even though this one has slightly different game mechanics. the Last Stand is definitely better.

First off, the graphics weren't bad, but I felt that they lacked polish. Just certain things didn't seem to be right. Some animations weren't smooth and so forth. When killed they seem to turn to stone, I know a complicated rag doll physics system isn't required but a little extra bit of animation would have gone a long way.

Also, The game really isn't even that hard. Spamming a melee weapon makes it easy. Never buy a gun. Ever.

Gotta say it.

Honestly? This is not that good at all. The graphics are poor. I understand that graphics don't have to be awesome but a little effort could be put forth.

My main issue with this is that it is a BETA. I'm not sure I can count this as a game. You're just killing things. Your stick figures legs don't move at all either. The panel on top of the screen and the damage numbers that appear make me think that you used an generic RPG creator of some sort.

I can't rate your up coming game, I can only rate this beta. Which is hopefully very very rough. No type of storyline at all, boring enemies, no equipment, no level up stats. Lacking in everything that makes a good RPG.

Didn't use any kind of creator, 100% from scratch :) don't worry, all the things you mentioned will be in the later releases :)

This is worse than "The Worst Game Ever"

And they didn't even rip off a good game. It is not a homage. You don't credit the person who you rip the stuff off of.

It's not even a good rip off. There's a difference between "bad" and "hard". The fact that this has a score over 1.00 is horrible. I've played games that were hard and I had to try at, and they HAD good mechanics and were not RIP OFFS. Just because this is a flash website does not mean that we have never played downloaded games. You can fool a lot of people, but not all of them.

Things that stop this from being a good game.
1. Its a poorly done rip off
2. Horrible jump mechanics are not a substitute for challenging game play
3. Horrible platforms are not a substitute for challenging game play
4. Design a music on/off button
5. It's frustrating but not hard.
6. Actually play through your own game to test for bugs.

The fact that it is a rip off of a fantastic game makes people angry, especially when its a poorly done rip off.

I've seen worse,

But I have also seen better. Much better. The main flaws are poor hints, small area (2 views unless I missed some, but really only one because one of them is a door.), and the dark colors made it extremely difficult to see anything.

That said, it worked, though it certainly doesn't stand out in any way from the others I have seen.

While I still love it

I do have slight issues with just reskining a game and changing a few things. That is why I can only give this a 4/5 and 8/10. I gave the original a 5/5 and 10/10 and I still love this version more.
The switch to a "day" system was nice, a vast improvement over the 60 seconds the old version gave you. Though really that is all I noticed that was different.

When I say different, I mean game play wise of course. The christmas theme did make me laugh as I killed hundreds with my zombie hordes, but in the end it is really just a reskin with a few improvements added in.

They day system is a preview of what is to come I hope, when the World Domination Edition comes out. This shows promising signs of how that will turn out.

A little different spin

First off, I noticed the music, which I enjoyed. It made it a very mellow playing experience, with a very good piano part. The chirping crickets did get slightly annoying after a bit.

Now, I have played quite a few "color block" games (match colors, block vanishes so on) and all follow the same basic mechanic. This was a particular spin that really haven't seen before and required a little more thought than the usual "bejeweled" or "bubbles (shooting multi-colored bubbles at a line of them)" game.

It took a while to get used to the way that you place the blocks, and i originally didn't think that there was timing mechanism. I'm not sure if you mentioned that there was or not, but I took off for a level to write this, and when I scrolled up my screen was covered in white.

The graphics are not the center of this game, but the dawn animation was poorly done, the grading was kinda chunky, and really thats all I can offer for a review. Thanks for your time.

Unique Representation

It was unique and I kind of enjoyed it. There were several annoying things though, the text took a long time to appear, and you couldn't make it appear faster. I also thought that the graphics weren't particularly good, clear joints where legs and arms bent,

This is game is difficult, lol, you just cant win. I really didn't find any real glitches,
but I do have one thing to say, if there was some way to keep track of how much of each program you already had, that would make it alot easier.

Something weird

I thought it was slightly irritating that the area of the cheese is so small, and you can't see it.

OK, I was going to write more, explore storyline and glitches. However after spending 15 minutes randomly moving my mouse around to find the 5th piece of cheese I gave up. I guarantee that for every person that says something about being stuck here there are plenty that just give up and give it a low score.

The fact that I can't find it disappoints me, as it is apparently the 5th in a series of games, which leads me to believe that the story line must be fairly good, and so must the game play. Although, I also see that you have only submitted #3 and #5, I am guessing the others were blammed.

Regardless, if you made the cheese easier to find, with a bigger clickable area or made it visible, I would be able to review the game instead of the wildly flailing my mouse around for 15 minutes.

Good and Buggy

First off, I know that the game mechanic is copied, and I don't care.

I thought that this was a very fun game. Although the english was horrible it did have a fairly interesting story line. I especially liked being able to choose between good and evil even if it was only one small choice, and the 2 paths did add a little replay value.

Where this game is killed is in the major glitches, first off, you need to make it an option to use either mouse or keyboard. I prefered the keyboard, but the mouse still controls it as well, and the best I could to prevent it from fucking me up is putting in the middle, even doing that it still caused issues.
Also for some reason you'll constantly try to go up, to the side or down, with out pushing any buttons. This was irritating, and sometimes pushing the keyboard didnt help and you spent the entire level off screen.

The messed up controls, bad english, and glitchy directional stuff ruin what would otherwise be an extremely entertaining game.
